A quick guide to wrecker services
Today I am going to tell you all about the most common services wrecker companies offer. Some may think it’s not important, but I beg to differ. I’ve been in business for a while and have noticed that a lot of my customers are surprised to hear I offer other services than just wrecking and demolishing. That’s I we decided to make this article for you and I hope I am in any way useful.
The first thing that comes to mind when mentioning wrecker services is obviously the wrecking part. It includes all sorts of residential, commercial and industrial demolitions. It takes heavy machinery and sometimes even controlled explosions. That is done with great consideration for the safety of everyone and care for the surrounding environment. Demolitions are a bit messy. They get a lot of dust and debris in the air and all around the area of the wreck. Most wrecker services try to contain the dust pollution contained and to a minimum. One way to do that is by keeping the building and it’s base and walls wet. This keeps the spreading of dust and dirt to a minimum.
Wrecker services use heavy demolition equipment including bulldozers, top loaders, bobcats and other similar machinery for wrecking, loading and transporting. Taller buildings are demolished by undermining the base of the structure and controlling the direction in which it collapses. Optimally a building should fall down on itself in order to protect neighboring buildings. That is not an easy task, however. It takes a lot of work and professional expertise.
